What is the parade route?
The parade starts at Halls Corner, travels down Washington Street, turns onto St. George Street and ends at the Duxbury High School. The route is approximately 2 miles.
How long is the parade?
Depending on the number of floats and bands, the parade lasts 1-2 hours.
I'd like to make a float, but I need a truck and trailer. Where can I get one?
There are lots of companies in town who are willing to donate a truck, driver and trailer. See the list here. If you use their services, we suggest giving the driver a generous tip.
Where should I park for the parade?
Parking in Halls Corner is limited due to the floats and bands setting up. Spectators can park at the schools, on Depot St. or side streets. Please be respectful of driveways and lawns when parking in neighborhoods, and be aware that the streets near Halls Corner get closed off at 11:00 AM.

Porta-Potties can be found at the parking lot of 1 Bay Road.
Do I need a ticket to watch the parade?
The parade is free to the public.
