Duxbury Celebrates

The Duxbury 4th July Activities Committee is pleased to announce that the theme of the 2023 Parade is DUXBURY HOMETOWN SPIRIT. The parade will be July 4 at 2pm. The committee hopes that this theme will provide community organizations and local businesses with ideas for the creation of their floats and walking units. The 4th of July Committee is a diverse group of volunteers who begin planning the parade early in the year. Invitations are sent out with to local and national music groups and other organizations, then contracts are signed with their agreement to participate. Thanks to the Town Meeting vote on March 11, we have a funding allotment to proceed with this planning.
