
Labor Day Beach Party
The Duxbury July 4th Activities Committee wishes to invite all Duxbury residents to the Labor Day Beach Party and Bonfire on Saturday, September 2nd. With summer winding down, what better way to spend the final weekend than a fun evening of music and a raging bonfire with family and friends. Blakeman's and the Cornerstone Lodge will have food available for purchase or feel free to bring your own food. Admission is FREE. Porta-potties will be located in the parking lot.

Parking Guidelines
Resident and Non-Resident OVER SAND stickers: The same protocol will be in place as on any other day. Should the over sand limits be reached, residents may park in main lot, non-residents will have access to the overflow lot at Duxbury Beach Park.
Duxbury Resident PARKING LOT stickers: If the main lots are full, you may park at the Duxbury Beach Park overflow lot for free.
Duxbury Residents with no beach sticker: Duxbury Beach Park will wave the daily fee for parking for residents who do not have beach stickers. You must provide attendant with proof of residency(i.e. license or car registration).
Non-residents with no beach sticker: Parking is available at the Duxbury Beach Park for the daily fee.
Between 7-10pm, the road between the main lot and Duxbury Beach Park will be closed to vehicles so as to provide safe pedestrian access to and from the Duxbury Beach Park lot. IF THE RESIDENT LOT IS FULL AND IT IS AFTER 7PM, YOU WILL NEED TO ACCESS THE DUXBURY BEACH PARK VIA GURNET RD.
To ensure a safe event, we ask that you:
DO NOT allow children to climb on the bonfire structure.
Have prearranged meeting place with your children should you get separated.
Call 911 or go to the public safety staging area next to the guard shack if any emergency or medical issues arise.
